Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Astra, a coding assistant provided by Smart Tech ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Astra, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Astra is an AI-powered coding assistant that helps you write, debug, test, and ship software through a web-based IDE. Astra generates code, runs it against tests, and returns results. We provide the service on a subscription basis across the plans described on our pricing page.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Astra.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Astra to:

Generate code intended to cause harm, including malware, exploits, or code designed to gain unauthorized access to systems.
Violate any applicable law or the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the service.
Overload, disrupt, or circumvent usage limits or security measures.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content and code

You retain ownership of the code and content you provide to Astra and, to the extent permitted by law, of the output Astra generates for you. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any code before using it in production. Astra is a tool to assist you, not a substitute for your own engineering judgment.

5. Plans, billing, and usage

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Each plan includes usage limits described on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Astra available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated to you.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Astra is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated code may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing and testing it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Tech will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
